Playing with Perlers

A few weeks ago, I was introduced to something called Perler beads, or fuse beads, or melt-a-beads, or probably many other names... I immediately fell in love... I mean, they are useful for wasting many hours doing almost nothing, and usually they produce nothing meaningful other than giving me lots of joy... and alone time!! So the wonderful woman who introduced these beads to me... let's call her... Lola... she invited me over to her house last night to hang out and play with perlers... I brought all the beads I've acquired since forming this new habit, I mean hobby... and we sat around with a few other women... Jan and Cam... and just had a great time. Here are some of the things that we made (with awesome patterns that I found online)...

I'm sure I mentioned it before.... but I LOVE these things!!
